“I consulted with Justine at the start of my process and she helped guide me through the different decisions I would be making—everything from funding goal, publishing direction, printing options, etc. We talked over logistics, but the biggest advice she gave me was helping me overcome my inhibitions of raising money and really putting trust into my community.

My book funded 200% over the goal and I felt like I was able to make very calculated decisions after our conversation. Justine played a big part in why I was able to complete my first book so quickly.”

I teach an undergraduate course titled How to Change the World, all based on literature, and invited Justine Villanueva to speak to my class. The students found the message of the book truly meaningful and enjoyed the privilege of engaging in a conversation with the author, asking deeply insightful questions.

One of the students commented, ‘The cultural values that stood out to me in this book were pride in one's culture and self-acceptance. These values are monumental when fighting for equality, because one must love themselves and be proud to be who they are to push for social change regarding their culture.’ Justine Villanueva’s guest visits have been the highlight of my class.
